Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar are all set to tie the knot on THIS date

After Gauahar came out of the Bigg Boss 14 house post her role as a Toofani senior, her long-time boyfriend, Zaid Darbar popped the big question. During one of his interviews during Gauahar’s stay in the Bigg Boss house, Zaid Darbar had hinted towards marrying her before the year ends and it looks like that he is sticking to his promise.

After proposing to her, Zaid and Gauahar went away for a small vacation in Goa and now, the couple has announced that they will be getting married on December 25. Taking to their social media, they have shared the big news with their fans that their Nikaah ceremony will be taking place on Christmas Day. Posting a couple of pre-wedding photoshoot pictures, they wrote a heartfelt note for the love they have received so far and spoke about ending the year on a good note.

Manoj Bajpayee, Neena Gupta, and Sakshi Tanwar to star in Rensil D'Silva's thriller Dial 100

A gripping collaboration will soon see the light of day as one of India's leading production houses, Sony Pictures Films India announces its next project titled, Dial 100 jointly backed by filmmaker Siddharth Malhotra and Sapna Malhotra’s Alchemy Films. Starring Manoj Bajpayee, Neena Gupta, and Sakshi Tanwar, sort of a casting coup, the upcoming film is a unique thriller, crafted for excellence in that genre.

What makes this collaboration interesting is that it comes from the studio (Sony Pictures Films India) that has witnessed the acclaim and commercial success for blockbusters such as Piku, Padman, and Shakuntala Devi and from a filmmaker (Siddharth Malhotra), who has helmed dramas such as We Are Family and Hichki in the past. Superfit mom-to-be Anushka Sharma gives massive fitness goals by doing headstand with the help of Virat Kohli

After spending over a month in Dubai during the Indian Premier League, Anushka Sharma is back in town and although heavily pregnant, she recently returned to the sets of the ad shoot before she takes maternal leave. She is documenting this phase on social media and sharing some glimpses with fans.

Today, Anushka Sharma shared a photo of herself doing a headstand with the help of her husband Virat Kohli whilst being pregnant. “This exercise is ‘hands-down’ (and legs up) the most difficult one,” she captioned the post.

She further wrote, “P.S. – As yoga is a big part of my life, my doctor recommended that I can do all such asanas that I was doing before I was pregnant barring twists & extreme forward bends, but of course with the appropriate and required support. For the Shirshasana, which I have been doing for many years, I ensured that I used the wall for support and also my very able husband supporting me balance ❤️, to be extra safe . This was also done under the supervision of my yoga teacher @eefa_shrof who was virtually with me through this session. I'm so glad I could continue my practice through my pregnancy.”

“Playing a mother to Rishu and Roli has evoked that maternal instinct in me” says Neha Marda of Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti

Set in Pune, the show will depict the innocent word of 2 young and adorable kids Rishu and Roli as they team up to rekindle the love between their Mumma-papa and complete their ‘happy family’. Together, they vow to be the glue that will fill the cracks that have developed between mum and dad.

While television actor Siddhant Suryavanshi will be seen essaying the lead role of Kuldeep, popular actress Neha Marda will be seen playing Shubhra’s role. The actress has been shooting on set with Siddhant and the child artists, Pratyasksh Panwar and Mannat Murgai for quite some time and has formed a very dear bond with them all, especially with the kids. In fact, playing a mother to these kids onscreen, seems to have evoked certain maternal instincts within the actress. While they shoot most of their scenes together, off- screen too the kids do not really like to leave Neha’s side and the trio are often seen creating fun, dramebaaz videos with each other.

Commenting on her relationship with the kids, Neha said, “My character Shubhra holds her children very dear and close to her heart. While it has not been that long playing this character, Shubhra has somewhere formed a part of me and these naughty, adorable kids have brought out a motherly side in me. I believe children have their unique way of understanding one’s emotions and their rawness and beauty can be breath-taking. Their innocence has a certain charm of its own and working with them is a real surreal feeling.  We have all become very attached to these kids, especially me because playing a mother to Rishu and Roli has evoked that motherly emotion in me. And while motherhood completes a woman, I have found something close to that feeling with Rishu and Roli on set.”

Vir Das on his new show Inside Out

Vir Das is ready with a new show. It’s called Inside Out and it premiers on Netflix on December 16. Explaining the concept behind the show Vir says, “It started out just to raise money for different charities. I'd do an online show every night to raise money and give the ticket sales away. To warm up the audience I'd ask 'what’s the first thing you're going to do when the world is normal again?'. Suddenly people all over opened up about their dreams. And I knew this was a moment I needed to capture. So the entire show is a comedian asking people across the world that one question.”

Vir says he enjoyed his lockdown period. “I’ve been a circus performer for the past decade, travelling seven months a year. So I’ve never had this kind of time at home. So it’s nice to have this pause. So far I’ve been regurgitating output for the past decade now I’ve time to ingest content. And I had really been ignoring the digital platform. So far I had done some stand-up on Netflix. But never played the YouTube or the Instagram game. I am just taking time off to put up some uplifting feel-good content on those two platforms.”

For the lockdown entertainment seekers Vir has daily treat. “I set up a show on zoom every night where I work way my backward through the day. It’s a 90-minute daily show with tickets sold and the proceeds going to various charities and causes, like Helpage, migrant workers, children with cancer.”

Vir feel the lockdown is the best thing that could have happened to contain the virus. “Absolutely I feel our central government and state ministers have done a really good job. Every country is marching to its own beat in this Corona crisis. India too is doing its own thing and the Government decided on the lockdown at the right time. But I would love to see more testing kits and better relief packages.”

Abhishek Bachchan reacts after his Bob Biswas look got leaked, reveals he had to gain weight for the role

A week ago, actors Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangda Singh resumed the shooting for Bob Biswas after nine months since wrapping the first schedule of the film. Both the actors headed to Kolkata to kick off the next schedule as their looks got leaked online.

In the film, Abhishek plays a contract killer. In the pictures from the sets of the film, Abhishek was seen dressed in a plain blue full sleeves shirt and baggy trousers. He is wearing a pair of spectacles and has mid-parted hair. Speaking to a daily, the actor said that the paparazzi knew that they were going to shoot in Kolkata so they had gathered at the location with their cameras. He said that he would have loved the way if the look had been revealed during their marketing campaign as intended by director Annapurna Ghosh. But, the netizens’ reaction surprised him and gave an assurance that they are doing something right.

For the role, he had to gain weight as Bob Biswas’ character is portly. He said that he had to pile on kilos but maintaining the same frame was difficult during the lockdown. He further said that though they returned to the sets after nine months, it didn’t feel like it after the first day of shooting was done.

The film is a spinoff of Bob Biswas character essayed by Saswata Chatterjee in the film Kahaani starring Vidya Balan. The film is bankrolled by Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh, and Gaurav Verma, a directorial debut for Diya Ghosh and written by Sujoy Ghosh.

Jacqueline Fernandez joins Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer Bachchan Pandey, shooting begins on January 6

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey will roll in January 2021 and continue till March. It marks Akshay Kumar's 10th collaboration with his producer buddy. Earlier, it was being reported that besides Kriti Sanon, another actress will be signed for the project. It is now confirmed that Jacqueline Fernandez has come on board.

The actress has joined the team of Bachchan Pandey. This marks her eighth collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala. Her character is kept under wraps whereas it is being reported that Kriti Sanon plays the role of a journalist. Jacqueline excitedly shares, ”I was very new to the industry when I did the ‘Dhanno’ song in Housefull for Nadiad and our bond & friendship goes way back then. I am elated to be back working with him and Bachchan Pandey will mark our 8th film together after Judwaa & Housefull series. I can't wait to reunite with Akshay once again. It's a crazy mad ride always with him and I am sure we will have a blast together."

Talking about the shooting schedule, she shares, "I’m looking forward to begin the shoot in January with them. I can't spill the beans on my character yet but I can tell you it's a totally different avatar. This film will be an altogether different experience for us as we would be shooting in the new normal owing to the on-going pandemic but as we say the show must go on. With the precautions and norms for Covid -19 which would be taken care of, I am extremely excited to be at my 'Happy Place' with Sajid, Akshay, and have a gala time."

She further adds, “I have just finished shooting for a film while the other one is going on and I’m set to roll for Bachchan Pandey soon post which I’ll be back with Nadiad directing Salman & myself for Kick 2.” she signs off.

Jacqueline begins shooting with Akshay, Kriti & Arshad from the first week of January in Jaisalmer. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film will be reportedly shot in places like Gadisar Lake and Jaisalkot. Akshay Kumar's eponymous character Bachchan Pandey is a gangster who aspires to be an actor. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon will essay the role of a journalist, who harbours dreams of becoming a film director. Recently, Arshad Warsi has been roped in to play the role of Bachchan Pandey's friend.

“Akshay, along with actress Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez, director Farhad Samji and the rest of the unit will fly to Jaisalmer in a charter for a marathon schedule of over 2 months during which they will be shooting in real locations. Last month, the production team secured all the requisite permissions and taken care of all the government guidelines and locked the shooting locations,” a source had earlier revealed. The shooting begins on January 6.

The entire team will be stationed at a Suryagarh Hotel together and some indoor sequences will be shot there. The film also has some elaborate action scenes and teams from across the country will be joining the crew for that shoot.

Apart from Bachchan Pandey, Jacqueline Fernandez will also star in Bhoot Police, Cirkus, and Kick 2.

Chetan Hansraj roped in to play the antagonist in Pearl V Puri starrer Brahmarakshas 2

After presenting three interesting fiction properties in the festive month of October and captivating its audience with stories that capture the pulse of the Indian middle class, Zee TV now takes its audience on a trip of fantasy. The channel very recently launched the second season of its immensely successful and intriguing weekend thriller, Brahmarakshas. Produced by Balaji Telefilms, the show premiered its first episode on 22nd November with television actress Nikki Sharma essaying the lead character of Kalindi opposite popular actor Pearl V. Puri playing the role of Angad. Having made quite an intriguing start, the show is all set to make an exciting and captivating revelation on this Sunday.

While the initial episodes have introduced viewers to leading lady Kalindi’s battle against an evil force that seems to be lurking around her, there has been much speculation around the true identity and the human form that this Brahmarakshas will assume. In an exciting turn of events, viewers will find out in the latest episode of the show that the Brahmarakshas is none other than the character Vardhan Chaudhry played by the multi-talented television superstar Chetan Hansraj.

Out of the many negative characters essayed by Chetan, this role seems to be one of his most challenging yet exciting characters to portray. Talking about his love for this genre and what intrigued him to take up this character, Chetan said "The genre of supernatural shows itself has always been my favourite. When I first heard the story, I was instantly hooked, and I felt it had the perfect mix of thrill and drama that are required to complete a show of this kind. This is the best werewolf story we could have right now on Indian television. I am really looking forward to portraying this character because it is something very different from what I have essayed earlier and it brings its own set of challenges. Moreover, I am returning to Zee TV after nearly four to five years and I am glad to be a part of the family once again”.

The actor’s character has a rather ferocious avatar which takes Chetan nearly four hours to step in and out of the look. Talking about his look, Chetan said. “It takes minimum 4 hours and a team of four to five exceptionally skilful people to set the heavy prosthetics on my face. Shooting in the costume, that includes performing various action sequences comes as a big challenge by itself but none of this takes away from the interest and fascination that I have for this role. “While it might be quite a tough process, transforming from Vardhan into Brahmarakshas and back into Vardhan is actually the most exciting part of this character.”

"Horror is a very tough genre because you have to be convincing to an audience" - says Bhumi Pednekar on Durgamati

Bhumi Pednekar has carved a niche for herself in Bollywood with her brilliant acting skills. The versatile actress will be seen next in a horror-thriller titled Durgamati, which is releasing on December 11 on Amazon Prime Video. Bhumi is headlining this project that is being produced by Akshay Kumar. Bhumi says she wants to sink her teeth into every genre and put up great performances in them.

Bhumi says, “I want to explore all genres and put up superlative performances in each one of them. As an artiste, that is my personal ambition. I want to be in the best films that are being made in India today and put up diverse performances that test me, push me to the max. I don’t want to make a genre or a type of film my niche. I want to do it all and try and excel in every project that I take up. Durgamati, for me, was one such project.“

Bhumi is thrilled that Durgamati pushed her to deliver one of her best performances. She says, “I knew it will help me push the envelope and I will get to expand myself as an artiste. It was definitely a huge learning experience for me. Horror is a very tough genre because you have to be convincing to an audience who knows that what they are seeing is not real. So, the performances have to carry the film and deliver outstanding entertainment to audiences. I wanted to experience this genre and I was sure that I would be able to deliver a solid performance.”

Bhumi is confident that audiences will give her a lot of love for Durgamati. She says, “I’m very hopeful that audiences will give me as much love as they have given me for all my performances so far when Durgamati releases. I consider myself fortunate that people have always supported and validated my performances and film choices.”

Krushna Abhishek denies the rumours of Bharti Singh’s exit from The Kapil Sharma Show after her arrest

Comedian Bharti Singh along with her husband Harsh Limbachiya was arrested for consumption of drugs by the Narcotics Control Bureau. A total of 86.5 gms of substances were found in her apartment and they were in judicial custody for a couple of days. However, after she was granted bail, there are rumours about Bharti Singh being dropped out of The Kapil Sharma Show by the makers.

Her co-stars Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek have denied the rumours citing that the channel has not spoken to them yet about the same. Kiku said that she did not come to shoot a day prior and that was about it. While Krushna Abhishek lent his support to her and said that no matter what the channel decides, he will stand by her and she will always be his sister. Kapil Sharma and Krushna will continue to support Bharti Singh.

Krushna also expressed a lot of dislike towards Raju Srivastava’s comments on Bharti and said that their entire team is miffed with him about it. He has further said that Raju has taken on a lifetime worth of grudge from our end and we will not forgive him for that.

Amazon Prime Video is all geared up to get you going 'Kabaddi Kabaddi' with is upcoming sports docu series Sons of The Soil : Jaipur Pink Panthers. A documentary that is unscripted, raw, unfiltered in the players, coaches and management lives in the franchise.

In a recent press conference, owner of the team, Abhishek Bachchan shares this 'personal touch' that involved in the name 'Jaipur Pink Panthers', he says, "Jaipur Pink Panthers has a very personal touch with me. Whatever work I do in life, I feel it should have a personal connect. When I was little, my father used to call me out saying 'Tiger' then after a few years I thought even I should call him something as an answer. One day when he came back home from shooting, he asked me 'How are you tiger? I replied,' I am fine Panther. How are you?' and I was 4-5 years old then. Since then it became like a fun thing, he used to call me Tiger, I used to call him Panther. If there was an animal that we wanted to choose, I was sure that it was Panther because that is how I used to call my father. Pink is my daughter, Aaradhya's favorite colour. So I thought that Pink and Panther would be nice. My wife Aishwarya has worked in the film Pink Panther 2 with Steve Martin, so that's a connect to Aishwarya. Jaipur was the city, Aishwarya and I came together in, so that's why Jaipur. If you see, our Pink Panther has blue-green eyes which are the same as my wife's. So there is a personal connect to everything about Jaipur Pink Panthers."

Sharing this connect that he found 'embarrassing' has actually struck a chord in our hearts as we all are in awe. The series is produced by BBC Studios India and directed by two-time BAFTA Scotland Winner Alex Gale, following Jaipur Pink Panthers through their journey in Season 7 of Pro Kabaddi League.

The Sons Of the Soil: Jaipur Pink Panthers are set for Le Panga! on December 4. The Amazon Original Series will launch in over 200 countries and territories exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who is an avid social media user, often posts old pictures and stills from his films and even rare pictures of his family members. Recently, the actor shared a photoshoot of himself which he had done for a film that never saw the light of the day.

In the photo shared by the actor, a young Amitabh Bachchan was seen in a black tapered pants and a gun kept by his side. In the caption, the star revealed that the film was never made eventually." ... a film that never got made .. styled, photo shot , titled .. but never got made .. pity," he captioned the post.

Meanwhile, a few days back, Amitabh Bachchan dug up an old picture of himself dressed in a funky golden outfit. The show, created by popular comic Biswa Kalyan Rath, has two seasons with two completely different stories. The first season follows the struggles of a teenage boy from Raipur who takes admission in an IIT entrance coaching center, while the second season stars Masaan girl Shweta Tripathi as a doctor fighting for better healthcare services for Sitlapur village, where she is posted for a cataract camp. Beautiful storytelling and incredible performances makes this a must watch for all.

3: Hostel Daze
Any Indian web show lover knows that no one does it quite like TVF. After the popular Kota Factory, they bring you this hilarious campus-comedy featuring four friends - Jatin, Rupesh, Ankit and Luv, as they live their lives in a hostel of an engineering college. The characters in Hostel Daze are bound to remind you of some of your own friends and it is this endearing and relatable quality of the show that makes it a hit. 4: The Raikar Case

Sayani Gupta starrer Shameless is India's official entry for Oscars 2021 in the Live Action Short Film category

Actors Sayani Gupta, Hussain Dalal, and Rishabh Kapoor starrer short film Shameless is India's official entry for Oscars 2021 in the Live Action Short Film category. The film is written and directed by Keith Gomes.

Keith Gomes thanked the cast and crew of the film who are National and Oscar winners. He said he makes films with little funding from family and friends. He said that everyone comes together with loads of love and passion. Gomes said that he couldn’t be more blessed.

The short film was released in April last year. It was selected amongst Shaan Vyas' Natkhat, Aditya Kelgaonkar's Sound Proof, Safar, and Trapped.

Anil Kapoor responds after Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik gossip about him on The Kapil Sharma Show

Actors Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Pankaj Tripathi recently visited The Kapil Sharma Show as guests. Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Anil Kapoor happen to be a group of three close friends in Bollywood. On the show, Satish and Anupam spilled some interesting secrets about their friendship.

In a promo of the show, the two actors reveal their habit of gossiping especially when one of the three is not present. The promo begins with Satish saying, “When Anupam and Anil Kapoor are together, they gossip about me. When Anil Kapoor and I are together, we are like ‘Kapoor saab, kya yaar…”

Listening to this, Kapil said, “As you said, when the two of you are together, you gossip about the third person. Since the two of you are here together why not get some tea.” Carrying on with what Kapil was referring to Anupam Kher jokingly said, "Ye Anil kya samajhta hai yar apne aap ko, badi body shody dikhane laga hai (What does Anil think of himself these days, he keeps showing off his body).”

Anupam Kher took to his Twitter handle and shared the promo and wrote, “My dear @AnilKapoor! This 20 second video clip is for you. From your two friends. It is not fun until friends do evil to each other. Don’t forget to watch tonight at half past nine @SonyTV On. @satishkaushik2.”

Coolie No 1: When David Dhawan was angry with Varun Dhawan but vented it on Sara Ali Khan during ‘Main Toh Raste Se’ shoot

A few days ago, the highly-awaited trailer of Coolie No. 1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan was unveiled. Directed by David Dhawan, the upcoming film is a rendition of the iconic 1995 Govinda-Karisma Kapoor starrer family comedy.

During the press interaction on Saturday, Sara Ali Khan revealed a hilarious moment from the sets of the film when David Dhawan got angry at her. “We were filming ‘Main Toh Raste Se’ when David sir got upset with me and shouted at me because, although I was ready for my shot, I was supposed to tag something on my costume and that was taking time”.

However, there was a reason for it and she blamed Varun Dhawan for it. “He was doing some costume business in the van and David sir got pretty upset at him as it was delaying the shoot. So basically, he was angry at Varun but vented on me. That was a bit of an issue, but it is all good,” she said.

“Working on Coolie No. 1 has really been a dream come true. One has grown up listening to songs like ‘Husn Hai Suhana’ and ‘Mirchi Lagi’, and it’s surreal that I now feature in the reprised versions of these songs! Working with Varun was an amazing experience, as not only is he an impeccable actor but he is also an extremely considerate, helpful, and motivating friend who always has your back on set. Of course, working with David Sir was a sheer privilege as I truly believe he’s the king of this commercial, masala, family comedy genre. Every day on set was a riot of fun, while at the same time one got to learn so much just by watching actors like Paresh sir, Rajpal sir, Johnny Sir, Bharti Maam, Javed Sir, and even Saahil and Shikha. I’m so grateful to Jackie and Vashu Sir for giving me this opportunity, and supporting us so much through this film! I really am excited for this film to release, and I sincerely hope that we’re able to spread happiness and some much-needed Christmas cheer with this movie” said Sara Ali Khan.

Coolie No. 1 stars Paresh Rawal, Javed Jaffrey, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav amongst others, and is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Bringing festive cheer this Christmas, Coolie No. 1 will premiere exclusively on December 25, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video.

Rubina Dilaik breaks down on Bigg Boss 14 recalling that she was to get divorced, leaves husband Abhinav Shukla teary-eyed

Rubina Dilaik has recently been announced as the first finalist to make it to the finale by Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 14’s Weekend Ka Vaar. While there are a lot of twists and turns, Bigg Boss gave the other contestants an opportunity to take her place by revealing some of the dark secrets. It is known that Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla’s marriage was in rough waters before they decided to do the show.

Speaking of her dark secret, Rubina reveals that they were on the verge of divorce and had given each other the time till November. She said, “Humne ek dusre ko November tak ka time diya tha. We were about to get divorced. Agar yaha dono saath nahi aate, toh shayad sath bhi na reh paate”. As soon as she steps out of the area, she breaks down while a teary-eyed Abhinav Shukla gives her a tight hug.

Ashwini Kalsekar and Seemaa Desai win big at 3rd New Jersey Indian and International Film Festival, for their short film Tindey

After winning lots of accolades and recognitions, Seemaa Desai's Tindey has now gone on to win at the third edition of New Jersey Indian and International Film Festival, for their short film Tindey. While the director, Seemaa Desai won an award in the best short film category, actress Ashwini Kalsekar won the Best Actress award for the same.

The scene stellar Ashwini Kalsekar has won everyone over with her natural acting and nails every scene in the film. Talking about the win Ashwini Kalsekar, shares, “I am very excited, delighted enraptured at the same time very humbled and touched today because my work is being appreciated at NJIIFF (New Jersey Indian and International Film festival). I would like to thank everyone who is responsible for putting this joy in my life. I am thankful for my director, Seema Desai who projected me in a different way.”

She further adds, "To receive an award is always encouraging for any actor and it also increases the actor’s responsibility to deliver good. I promise to entertain my audience all my life.”

Delighted receiving yet another award, director Seemaa Desai, shares, “I am very happy on receiving the award for our short film ‘Tindey’. This film is extremely close to my heart as I had very special people who showed faith in it and made this project possible.”

Tindey is a heart-warming and humorous short film starring Adah Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Ashwini Kalsekar in lead roles. The short film is produced under the banner of Sejal Kaushik's Beatus Productions and Parag Desai's Mumbai Talkeez.
