Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is married to Saif Ali Khan, recently cheered for Ibrahim Ali Khan – the son of Saif with Amrita Singh. The actress has always maintained that she shares a great and friendly bond with Saif’s children with his first wife. While Sara Ali Khan and Kareena have often showcased their love for each other on many occasions, the actress has now showered love on Ibrahim too as he made his social media debut.

Ibrahim Ali Khan made his Instagram debut on April 30 and since then he has already bagged over 600K followers. The soon-to-be-debutant shared a series of photos from his photoshoot with the sports and activewear brand PUMA and captioned his images saying, “Legacy? I’ll make my own. Taking my first stride with @pumaindia”. This is expected to be Khan’s first official brand photoshoot and it seems that Ibrahim, who is already one of the paps’ favorites, is gaining love on the social media platform as well. Kareena Kapoor Khan responded to the post saying, “Welcome to @pumaindia Iggy <3 let’s shoot together soon @iakpataudi”. For the unversed, Kareena too has been associated with the brand in the past.

In an interview with a leading daily, Kareena Kapoor Khan had asserted that she prefers to be a friend to Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim rather than their mother because they already have an amazing mother who raised them. She also asserted that she loves them and is always there in case they need my advice or support from her in any matter. Apart from Kareena, other members of the family like Saba Pataudi and his sister Sara Ali Khan also cheered for him. Sara wrote on her Instagram story, “Welcome to the gram, time to kill the cam, and then share pics on famjam, fav member of my fam @iakpataudi.”

On the work front, Ibrahim Ali Khan has been working under Dharma Productions as an assistant director. He is expected to make his big debut as the lead in Sarzameen which will also feature Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran with actor-filmmaker Kayoze Irani marking his directorial debut. Meanwhile, he is also expected to have signed a rom-com with The Archies’ fame and Sridevi-Boney Kapoor’s second daughter Khushi Kapoor in a film that is reportedly titled Naadaniyaan.

Radhika Madan remembers Irrfan Khan's warmth on Angrezi Medium sets: “He really inspired and encouraged me”

Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan's heartwarming bond in the 2020 film Angrezi Medium is cherished by many.  The film, released just a month before Khan's passing, showcased not only their on-screen bond but also Khan's generosity towards his co-star. Recently, Madan reminisced about working with the legendary actor ahead of his death anniversary on April 29.

Radhika Madan revealed that due to Khan's ongoing health struggles, she was informed beforehand that his energy levels might be lower during filming. She shared to Hindustan Times, “I was already informed that his energies are going to be low. We finished shooting in October 2019 and in April 2020, he passed away. He shot the last scene with me.”

Madan remains deeply grateful for the experience. She highlighted Khan's decision to treat her as an equal, despite her being a newcomer to the industry. She added, “Full credit to Irrfan sir for treating me like an equal and not a newcomer, and giving me that respect as a co-star. That was the biggest motivation and it only gave me the confidence to believe in my gut and craft. He really inspired and encouraged me as a professional. I was always his student.”

A video doing the rounds on social media captures a delightful exchange between Bollywood singer Arijit Singh and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan during Singh's concert in Dubai. Mahira, a Pakistani superstar, was spotted enjoying Arijit's performance recently while attending an award show in Dubai. Interestingly, Singh sang the hit song ‘Zaalima’ from the movie "Raees," which featured Khan alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

The viral video shows Arijit Singh introducing Mahira Khan to the audience. In a surprising turn of events, the singer initially fails to recognize the actress. “You guys must be surprised, should I reveal?” Singh asks the audience with a smile. “I should reveal in a very nice way. Can we have the camera there?”

He then admitted, “I have been trying to recognize this person, then remembered I have sung for her. Ladies and gentlemen, Mahira Khan sitting right in front of me. On Sunday night, paparazzi captured glimpses of the stars arriving at the restaurant. A video showed Ranbir Kapoor and Jr. NTR, dressed in matching black outfits, getting out of the car, and waiting for Alia Bhatt to join them. The high-octane spy thriller War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, adding to the already established YRF Spy Universe that includes hits like the Tiger franchise, Pathaan, and the first War film in 2019. Interestingly, Alia will also join the spy universe with a standalone project.

On the other hand, Brahmastra, Ayan's previous directorial, was a supernatural fantasy featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Backed by Dharma Productions, it marked the first part of a trilogy. Filming for Brahmastra: Part 2 - Dev is expected to begin after Ayan wraps up War 2.

Fardeen Khan, who has not been on screen since 2010, has made a massive comeback with none other than the respected filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The latter marked his web-series debut with Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, and along with him, Fardeen too made a comeback in the entertainment industry as Nawab Wali Mohammed in this pre-Independence historic drama. Expressing his gratitude towards bagging this role and sharing his experience of walking the red carpet at the premiere which was held earlier this week, Khan shared a heartfelt post on social media.

It is a known fact that Fardeen Khan underwent extensive transformation before he decided to return to the film industry. The actor couldn’t be more excited to make a comeback on such a grand scale. The premiere of the web-series was held in Mumbai earlier this week, where two episodes of the show were screened for the celebrity guests who were a part of this glitzy evening. Ramayana photos leaked! Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi as Lord Ram and Goddess Sita set internet on fire

Talking further about Ramayana, the epic saga which is expected to unfold in three different parts as it traces the varied phases which Lord Rama undergoes, promising to extensively focus on the massive battle between him and Ravana, the trilogy is also expected to feature an extensive ensemble cast with top-notch performers. Names of Rakul Preet Singh, Sunny Deol, and others are also doing the rounds for the characters of Shurpanakha and Hanuman. But there has been no confirmation on the same.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has made a grand entrance in Kolkata, flanked by heavy security measures, ahead of the Kolkata Knight Riders' highly anticipated match against the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Scheduled to take place at the iconic Eden Gardens on Friday evening, the match is already buzzing with excitement. As the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan's presence always adds fervor to the atmosphere.

This announcement comes just after various sources indicated that SRK would portray a grey-skinned figure similar to Don. Suhana Khan, on the other hand, is receiving extensive training in order to carry out the film's action parts. According to reports, Gauri Khan and Siddharth Anand are producing the film, which has a budget of more than Rs 200 crore. At the time of writing, News18 was unable to corroborate the accusations.

Earlier, according to a report in Pinkvilla, it was revealed that “Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh have been constantly in touch with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan with multiple meetings from October 2023 to February 2024. Sujoy is meticulously working on the script with Sid and SRK. Designing world-class action sequences rests fully on Siddharth.”

Speaking about the film’s plot, a source added, “The flavour of action in King will be very different from what SRK has done in Pathaan and Jawan. This one would be sleek, with a lot of chase sequences. However, the core plot is emotional and driven by the story. It has lots of twists and turns, which is the reason why Sujoy has been bestowed with the responsibility of direction.”

Kashmera Shah reveals she apologised to Govinda, but he didn't let her touch his feet and didn't expect his wife Sunita Ahuja to arrive; says, ‘Unka gussa rehna banta hai’

Govinda's surprise entrance to Krushna Abhishek's sister Arti Singh's wedding caught everyone off guard. This stunning act brought an end to Govinda and Krushna's eight-year dispute. The feud began with a verbal altercation between Krushna's wife Kashmera Shah and Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja, which eventually escalated. Kashmera previously stated that she would stroke Govinda's feet and apologize if he attended Arti's wedding, and in a subsequent interview, she confirmed that she did.

Kashmera told The Times of India that she was delighted he attended the wedding. Kashmera described their encounter, stating that she was the only one greeting guests at the entryway, while Krushna was on stage with Arti. When Govinda entered the venue, she described it as unreal and immediately bowed down, uttering namaste. The actor stated that she approached Govinda and led him to the stage. When she bent down to touch his feet, Govinda stopped her and said ‘jeete raho, khush raho.’ “I bent down to touch his feet. That is the apology,” Kashmera said.

She also introduced Govinda to her twins, who were six years old. The Hero No. 1 actor hugged and blessed them, making Kashmera emotional. Govinda attended the wedding, but his wife, Sunita Ahuja, was absent. When asked whether she expected Sunita to attend the wedding, Kashmera said, “I wasn’t. Unka gussa rehna banta hai. (She has the right to be upset.)” She said that she will sort her issues with Sunita later and called her an ‘alpha’ woman. Kashmera also hinted that Sunita is angry because of the 2018 tweet incident.

Lara Dutta claims she has no interest in playing characters younger than her true age, unlike certain male performers

Lara Dutta understands that playing a 40-year-old woman in Bollywood is a rare opportunity for female actresses. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Lara was asked about how men frequently play characters decades younger than their true age, but she stated that she has no desire in doing so.

“I think it's great (women getting to play their own age). Yeah. And I hope it happens more. Why? Because for the longest time ever, we never ever, ever represented women in this country over a certain age. It was always the college-going or the 20-year-old falling in love for the first time. Any representation of women on screen was either the mother who has sacrificed everything, or the horrible saas or the suffering bahu, there was just no representation of actual women,” Lara said. In her new television series, Ranneeti: Balakot and Beyond, she plays a politician. Before it, she portrayed former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in BellBottom.

Scinda Heinz, according to Zeenat, was an exceptional woman who served as her ‘safe harbour.’ Zeenat further described her mother as ‘a woman ahead of the curve,’ highlighting her progressive nature. The post delved deeper into their relationship, showcasing both cherished moments and past challenges. Zeenat acknowledged her mother's unwavering support when she decided to pursue a career in acting. Scinda even gave up her own work to become Zeenat's manager, ardently negotiating contracts and ensuring her daughter's success. “When I made up my mind to pursue a career in acting, she gave up her own work to be my manager. Zeenat confessed to breaking her mother's heart when she eloped with her husband, Mazhar Khan, in 1985. “Mummy never thought any man was worthy of me (she was onto something there), and it was the only matter that we ever locked horns on. Even then, if I were ever low, I would crawl into her bed in our apartment off Nepean Sea Road, lay by her side and hold her hand. No words would be spoken, but my turmoil would settle and I would feel secure,” she wrote.

Zeenat further said, “It’s true that I broke her heart a little when I eloped, but it mended with the birth of my first son, who shares a birthday with her,” she added.

Aayush Sharma recalls being a ‘background dancer on the sets of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’; says, “There were 300-400 background dancers and I was one of them”

Aayush Sharma, who is gearing up to return to theatres after Antim: The Final Truth in 2021 with Ruslaan, recalled the time when he was just a struggling star. The actor, who is now married to Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan, made his big Bollywood debut with Loveyatri in 2018. But he recalls starting off as a background dancer in films including Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. He also went on to say how casting directors now don’t even remember rejecting him, and remembered the time when a director has also asked him to get out.

In an interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Aayush Sharma opened up about his first experience on a movie set, which was not in Loveyatri but in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani wherein he was a background dancer in the song, ‘Dilliwali Girlfriend’, picturised on Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. He said, "The first time I came to Mehboob Studios was for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Someone told me 'Why are you working as a background dancer.' I said that I wanted to see what a film set looks like and to see how the shoots happen. I couldn't find a job as Assistant Director.”

He further went on to elaborate and shared, “At one point, I wanted to become a casting director, thinking that I could get on the set through this. I remember that I had a shoot for YJHD at Mehboob Studios. It was a beautiful moment as there were 300-400 background dancers and I was one of them. Then I saw Manish Malhotra, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and then I saw Ranbir Kapoor entering the set for the ‘Dilliwali Girlfriend’ song shoot."

He also recalled how casting directors in the past rejected him easily but now, they have no memory doing so. "I hold my memories close to me. It's funny sometimes to think that some casting directors have rejected me before and now when I meet them, they tell me that I liked your films. They don't even remember that they rejected me before,” he added and even mentioned the time when one of the directors had asked him to ‘get out’ of the sets.

Meanwhile, currently, Aayush Sharma is gearing up for the spy-action drama Ruslaan, which stars Sushrii Mishraa, Jagapathi Babu, and Vidya Malavade. The film is slated for release this week, on April 26.

She asserted that she doesn’t mind being paired with older actors, as it would only help her garner attention. She said, “There are many facets to this. I can only speak for myself. He (Akshay) is a superstar. Many want to work with him, I want to work with him. We are all fans but I don’t cast for films and there are people who do (that). I am sure that everyone has their reason why they are casting who for which role and I don’t interfere with that.”

She added, “I see what role is being given to me and for me, working with a superstar is good and that you will get a certain amount of visibility and there will be a certain amount of attention attached to it as well,” she added.

Manushi clarified that there wasn’t a romantic pairing in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. She said, “I have really had fun working with him (Akshay). And for my first film, there was an age gap and they wanted to play the whole thing. In this (BMCM), there was no pairing. And it is also fine and I don’t see it as something atrocious or something which shouldn’t have been there.”

She added, “We did songs for marketing. So they had to put two people together for the songs, but that’s pretty much it, which is fine. It wasn’t like a love story anyway.”

“I hope I get to romance younger heroes as well and vice-versa also it happens,” she said.

When you are tackling deep and severe depression, just getting up in the morning and brushing your teeth and taking a shower is a monumental task.” He also ensured he attended his therapy sessions.

The actor added that he did his best to disappear and wasn’t attached to the fame. “I did my best to disappear. I did not engage via those threads. You know how desperately people cling on to the spotlight, I didn’t. I did exactly the opposite of what you are supposed to do to stay relevant. Yet here we are, and here I am,” he said. Sonali Bendre recalls becoming a "caricature" in Duplicate: “Sometimes you do things for that paycheck”

Actress Sonali Bendre is gearing up for the second season of her Zee5 series The Broken News. In a recent interview with IndiaToday.in, Bendre looked back on her filmography, discussing a project that left a significant mark on her career - the 1998 film Duplicate.

Duplicate, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan in a double role alongside Juhi Chawla, presented Sonali with an opportunity to portray a complex character. "I was approached to play a grey character," she said, expressing her initial excitement about the challenge. "We started preparing for the role and shooting accordingly, but as things progressed, I felt I became a caricature rather than the nuanced character I envisioned."

Sonali’s experience on Duplicate offered valuable lessons. "Every time a Duplicate song is played and people mention the film, the thing that I remember the most is the fact that how much a story can get de-railed and how much you can start with something and where it goes," she explained. "For me, that was a huge learning experience. As time goes by, you start thinking whether I misinterpreted something or it was the other way around," she added further.

Concluding her point, Sonali asserted, “But then, as you go forward, sometimes you do things for that paycheck, but other than that, in my second innings, I don't want to be slotted and boxed, and I want to do characters that break this stereotype."

Speaking of The Broken News, it also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Jay Upadhyay, Indraneil Sengupta, Taaruk Raina, Aakash Khurana and Kiran Kumar. The second season of the show will start streaming on the OTT platform from May 3 onwards.

Do Aur Do Pyaar Movie Synopsis: DO AUR DO PYAAR is the story of a dysfunctional couple. Kavya Ganeshan (Vidya Balan) has been married to Aniruddh Banerjee (Pratik Gandhi) for 12 years. They dated for 3 years after which they eloped and got hitched. In the last few years, they drifted apart and stopped communicating. A lonely Kavya gets attracted to an American-based photographer of Indian origin, Vikram (Sendhil Ramamurthy). Meanwhile, Aniruddh begins an affair with an upcoming actress, Nora (Ileana DCruz). Both are making plans with their respective partners and plan to get divorced soon. One day, Kavya gets a call informing her that her grandfather has passed away. She decides to fly down to Ooty, where her family resides. Aniruddh also joins them. Their visit adds to the tension in the Ganeshan family, especially because of her father Venkat (Thalaivasal Vijay) who hasn't forgiven them for eloping. In this tense and sombre situation, they get the time and opportunity to communicate and once again fall for each other. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

Do Aur Do Pyaar Movie Story Review: DO AUR DO PYAAR is an official remake of the 2017 Hollywood film THE LOVERS. Suprotim Sengupta and Eisha Chopra's story is very relatable and it's not a scene-by-scene remake of the original film. Suprotim Sengupta and Eisha Chopra's screenplay is realistic with ample doses of humour and drama. The writing, however, gets stretched in the second half. Suprotim Sengupta, Amrita Bagchi and Eisha Chopra's dialogues are conversational and enhance the entertainment quotient.

Shirsha Guha Thakurta's direction is simple. Though it's adapted from a foreign film, the director has Indianized the film beautifully. The four main characters and their flaws and strengths are etched out in a nuanced and real manner. She also succeeds in mirroring the realities and complexities of relationships and marriages. After a fine beginning, the film gets better in the Ooty episode. The Elephanta Hotel sequence is amusing and during the interval point, the director brings the house down.

On the flipside, the second half is lengthy and also dragging. The crucial pre-climax dialogue goes on and on and should have been curtailed for a better impact. Moreover, the focus is on the married couple while the other two get a raw deal. The makers also skip an important plot point in the climax. Lastly, the sound is not clear in a few dialogues.

Do Aur Do Pyaar Movie Performances: Vidya Balan looks stunning and gives a terrific performance. She has consistently been doing a great job but in DO AUR DO PYAAR, she delivers one of the finest performances of her illustrious career. She shines in the dramatic and confrontational sequences but watch out for when she gets into the LOL mode; it’s very adorable. Pratik Gandhi has never looked so handsome before in a Hindi film. He, too, puts his best foot forward. His chemistry with Vidya is electrifying. Ileana DCruz plays a difficult role with ease. She proves that she can score big time if given an opportunity. The dashing Sendhil Ramamurthy lends able support. His screen time, however, is limited. Thalaivasal Vijay leaves a mark. Rekha Kudligi (Savitri) and Kumaradas T N (Pulli) are okay. Arun Ajikumar (C J Surya) hams.

Do Aur Do Pyaar music and other technical aspects: Music is in sync with the film's mood. 'Jazbaati Hai Dil' is the best due to its placement and catchy theme. 'Tu Hai Kahaan' fails to register. 'Ta Ra Ta Ra Ta', 'Teri Meri Yeh Kahaani' and 'Do Kinaare' are passable. Subhajit Mukherjee's background score is appropriate but in the pre-climax, it interferes with the tension in the sequence.

Kartik Vijay's cinematography is satisfactory. Shailaja Sharma's production design is straight out of life. Veera Kapur Ee's costumes are appealing, especially the ones worn by Ileana. Bardroy Barretto's editing could have been slicker.

Do Aur Do Pyaar Movie Conclusion: On the whole, DO AUR DO PYAAR works due to the relatable plot and electrifying chemistry between Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi. At the box office, it'll need acceptance from the target audience, that is, the urban elite, to excel.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 Movie Synopsis: LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA 2 is the story of modern relationships and self-discovery in the high-tech age. The film consists of three tracks. Noor (Paritosh Tiwari) is a transgender who has participated in a voyeuristic reality show, 'Truth Yaa Naach', hosted by Mouni Roy (Mouni Roy) and judged by Prem Desi (Anu Malik), Tusshar (Tusshar Kapoor) and Sophie (Sophie Choudry). In order to increase her chances of winning, Noor is persuaded to get her mother (Swaroopa Ghosh) on the show. The daughter and the mother haven't spoken in two years. Yet, the mother decides to appear on the show. Meanwhile, the showrunners are happy with the ratings that Noor is getting for the show. But at the same time, they are under pressure since their sponsor wants to target a family-friendly audience. The second track is of Kullu Vishwakarma (Bonita Rajpurohit), who works at Ojaswi Udyog Limited metro station, which is wholly run by transgenders under the leadership of Lovina Singh (Swastika Mukherjee). One day, Kullu is found badly injured in an abandoned site. She refuses to elaborate on how she got assaulted and who is behind it. Lovina tries to find the truth and she gets the shock of her life. The final track is of a game vlogger Shubham aka Game Paapi (Abhinav Singh). He is all set to achieve 10 million followers. While live streaming a game, an anonymous account by the name of 'Full Moon' leaks pictures of him having sex with another man. A shocked Shubham tries to clarify that it's a fake video but no one is ready to listen. What happens next forms the rest of these tracks in the film.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 Movie Story Review: Prateek Vats, Shubham and Dibakar Banerjee's story is a reflection of the reality of our times. Prateek Vats, Shubham and Dibakar Banerjee's screenplay, however, is messy and confusing. Prateek Vats, Shubham and Dibakar Banerjee's dialogues are witty in places. Sadly, many cuss words are muted and that affects the impact.

Dibakar Banerjee's direction is weak. From his first film KHOSLA KA GHOSLA [2006], he's known for hatke execution. But it has never happened that one gets clueless about the goings-on in his films. Sadly, that’s exactly what happens in LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA 2. There are several moments where the viewers will be left scratching their heads. And the scenes that make sense are not as impactful. The first track has its share of arresting moments. But the impact is limited as it’s akin to watching a show like ‘Bigg Boss’ on the big screen. Thankfully, the track ends on an amusing note. The second track seems intriguing. However, the writers and director leave many questions unanswered. The third track goes above the head and no attempt is made to simplify the proceedings. Dibakar, it seems assumed that everyone will be able to comprehend and sadly, that doesn’t happen. On top of that, there is hardly anything for the masses in the film.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 Movie Performances: The performances save the day to some extent. Paritosh Tiwari plays a difficult role with ease. The same applies to Bonita Rajpurohit. Her dialogue delivery and breakdown scenes are spot on. Abhinav Singh gets into the skin of his character and essays it as if he’s been a vlogger all his life. Swastika Mukherjee has a crucial part and she is terrific, as always. Anu Malik rocks the show in a cameo. Mouni Roy is lovely. Tusshar Kapoor and Sophie Choudry are fine in their respective cameos. Swaroopa Ghosh lends able support. The actors playing Asifa, Pushpesh Mishra, Ajmal, Nimesh and Kiran do well.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 music and other technical aspects: The music is well woven into the narrative. 'Kamsin Kali' is the best of the lot and its theme is very catchy. Dhanashree Verma adds to the glam factor. 'Gandi Taal' is funny while the title track registers. 'Gulabi Ankhiyan' is wasted. Dibakar Banerjee, Tanmay Bhattacharjee and Nimrit Shah's background score is fair.

Riju Das and Anand Bansal's cinematography and Tanmay Bhattacharjee's sound design add to the realism. Tiya Tejpal's production design is authentic. Juliee Borse and Nidhi Agarwal's costumes are straight out of life. Paramita Ghosh's editing is okay. Special mention should also go to Green Rain Studios for their top-notch animation. Switch's title design is also impressive.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 Movie Conclusion: On the whole, LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA 2 fails to make an impact as it’s too confusing. At the box office, it will turn out to be a disaster due to limited hype and niche appeal.

Kajol get emotional on daughter Nysa Devgn's 21st birthday, shares heartfelt message: "Wish sometimes I could wrap her up"

Kajol is showering love on her daughter Nysa Devgn as she prepares to turn 21 tomorrow, April 20th. Taking to social media, Kajol posted a heartwarming message dedicated to Nysa, reminiscing about motherhood and the immense joy her daughter brings.

The post features a throwback picture of Nysa from her childhood. In the accompanying caption, Kajol delves into her emotions as a mother. “Tomorrow is Nysa's 21st birthday but today is about me and how I became a mom,” she begins. Kajol expresses her gratitude for Nysa, who ‘made my greatest wish come true’ and continues to fill her life with happiness ‘just by being herself’.

The actress goes on to describe the profound impact Nysa has had on her. Nysa's love and unwavering support inspire awe and gratitude in Kajol.  In a playful turn of phrase, Kajol writes, “I can be wrong but I can never be in the wrong. How she makes me laugh and laugh and how I love to stand on my soapbox and boast about what all my baby does and says.”

The simple act of being called ‘mama’ by Nysa holds immense significance for Kajol. She wrote, “Love is such an ordinary term to describe what you feel for your children. It's so much much more.”

The post concludes with a touch of humour. Kajol jokingly expresses a desire to ‘wrap her up and store her back in my stomach for a day just to feel my heart back in the body it started out from.’

Nysa, unlike her famous parents, maintains a private life on social media.  In December last year, Ajay Devgn clarified that Nysa has no current plans to enter the film industry. “Right now she doesn't want to be (come into the acting world),” he stated.

Chunky Pandey recalls Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri’s early days in Mumbai, renting flats & SRK’s career: “I was so sure this boy is going to become a superstar”

Shah Rukh Khan has a vast network of friends in the industry. But one friendship stands out for its longevity – his bond with actor Chunky Pandey. In a recent podcast interview, Chunky reminisced about the early days of their friendship, revealing a heartwarming glimpse into their shared history.

Speaking to Time Out with Ankit, Chunky talked about SRK and said, “I think one of his first friends in Bombay when he arrived was my younger brother Chikki. They're still the best of friends. So, at that time, they (Shah Rukh and Gauri) were renting a place and they used to come to meet my brother, sab baith ke video cassettes dekhte the. So he and Gauri were in my house quite often.”

He added, “With Shah Rukh, I was so sure this boy was going to become a superstar. Because he had that in him, you can see that fire…He's always had that. That talent has always been there with him before he became the superstar. So he's very confident and he knows where he is going. I mean, yeah, of course very proud that I've known him since then. He hasn't changed.”

On season 1 of the Netflix reality show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Shah Rukh himself acknowledged the immense support Chunky and his wife Bhavana provided during his early struggles in Bollywood. The bond extends beyond just the two actors.  Their daughters, Ananya Panday (Chunky's daughter) and Suhana Khan (Shah Rukh's daughter) have followed in their fathers' footsteps, embarking on their acting careers.

Interestingly, Ananya and Suhana are best friends. Speaking to Filmfare, Ananya highlighted the significant role Shah Rukh has played in her life.  Having spent a considerable amount of her childhood around him, she considers him a "second dad."  This heartwarming dynamic extends to their mothers as well, with Gauri and Bhavana also being close friends. Pratik Gandhi on sharing screen with wife Bhamini Oza in Gandhi, “I have seen her patiently preparing and waiting for that one big break”

Applause Entertainment’s posh biopic on the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi seems to be getting bigger by the week. We now have ‘Gandhi’ Pratik’s real-life wife Bhamini Oza playing Kasturba in Applause Entertainment and Hansal Mehta’s series on Mahatma Gandhi

Pratik spoke on the joys of working with his life partner. “I am very, very happy. I have seen her working hard all these years and patiently preparing and waiting for that one big break. I have always felt she is a terrific actor.. I have seen a lot of her work on stage. I love her both in dramatic roles and comedy,” he said.

Pratik has shared the stage and screen space with his wife before. “We have worked together on stage and a short film,” he said.

The short-film Shimmy streaming on Amazon’s miniTV brought Pratik Gandhi and his wife actress Bhamini Oza together on screen for the first time. Said the Scam 1992 actor, “Shimmy was a short film, and it explored a new-age father-daughter relationship. It was written by Jai Mehta, son of Hansal who is directing us in the Mahatma Gandhi series, and Disha Rindani and directed by Disha. What made it really special for me was that my wife Bhamini and I were seen on screen together in this, so I was excited. We had done theatre together before, but this was mainstream onscreen for the first time.”

AR Rahman talks about creating soundtrack of Diljit Dosanjh – Parineeti Chopra starrer Amar Singh Chamkila: “It's defining what Punjab is at that particular period”

Following the release of Amar Singh Chamkila starring Diljit Dosanjh, and Parineeti Chopra and helmed by Imtiaz Ali, the film has become the talk of the town. The reactions from critics and audiences have been positive. The film’s music is by maestro AR Rahman whereas the lyrics are by Irshad Kamil. In a newly released video, Rahman talks about creating music for the film.

Imtiaz Ali, at the beginning of the video, says, “The thrill of the film is the music of the film.”

Rahman adds, “Generally, when two musicians come together, it's not just the music. There's also romance you know. This is one of the songs – ‘Ishq Mitaye’. The way it talks about is how love takes and give. When I recorded I said why it can’t be a very international kind of song because it talks about a great philosophy but at the same time it's also defining what Punjab is at that particular period.”

Civil War Movie Synopsis: CIVIL WAR is the story of a group of journalists in a war zone. In the near future, a civil war erupts between an authoritarian United States government, headed by a dictatorial President (Nick Offerman) and various secessionist movements like Western Forces, Florida Alliance, New People's Army etc. Renowned war photographer Lee Smith (Kirsten Dunst) is in New York covering the events of the war. She and his colleague Joel (Wagner Moura) plan to go to Washington DC to interview the President before the Western Forces take over the city. They are joined by veteran war journalist and mentor Sammy (Stephen McKinley Henderson) and a 23-year-old aspiring photojournalist Jessie Cullen (Cailee Spaeny). Lee had saved Jessie's life during a protest in New York. Lee is not in favour of Jessie joining them but Joel insists on taking her after she charms him. The 600-mile-plus journey begins. On the way, they encounter several challenges and also dangers. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

Civil War Movie Story Review: Alex Garland's story is incredible and imaginative. Alex Garland's screenplay is a bit dry at places but overall, it is peppered with several engaging and nail-biting moments. The dialogues are fine. Sadly, in the absence of subtitles and too much noise in the film, a few one-liners are difficult to decipher. It is sad that when most studios in the country are releasing Hollywood films with English subtitles, PVR Pictures refuses to follow suit.

Alex Garland's direction is great. He has a winning plot in hand but that's half the battle won. One needs to do justice so that the desired impact is made. In this regard, Alex succeeds. He chooses to focus on the war journalists and that brings a nice touch. It's fascinating to see the life that these people live. While depicting their tale, the director also makes an important comment on morality and how an award-winning image takes precedence over everything. The first half has some interesting moments but the best is reserved for the second half. The kidnapping scene by the militant (Jesse Plemons) is nail-biting. The climax is very gripping and the film ends on an astonishing note.

On the flipside, the makers don't provide any backstory as to how the civil war broke out. One also doesn't get to know properly about the various secessionist movements and who is heading them. Similarly, no information is given about the dictatorial decisions and working style of the President that led to the madness. Hence, in the end, it becomes difficult to understand which side is correct. Maybe, that wasn't the idea of the makers. Yet, a little background would have been of great help.

Civil War Movie Performances: Kirsten Dunst delivers one of the finest performances of his career. She doesn’t go overboard and is natural while playing a celebrated journalist struggling with PTSD. Cailee Spaeny is a great find and plays a well-written character with panache. Wagner Moura is impressive while Stephen McKinley Henderson shines. Nick Offerman is hardly there but suits the part to the T. Jesse Plemons is damn good in a cameo. Nelson Lee (Tony) and Evan Lai (Bohai) are decent.

Civil War music and other technical aspects: Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow's background score is minimal yet impactful. Rob Hardy's cinematography is very captivating. One gets the feeling that one is in the midst of the firing between the forces. Special mention should also go to the sound design team which adds to the tension and realism. The action is very gory. Jake Roberts' editing is slick. The way he has intercut the cross-firing scenes with the black-and-white photographs enhances the appeal.

Civil War Movie Conclusion: On the whole, CIVIL WAR is an engaging dystopian flick which rests on a powerful story and performances. At the box office, the awareness is limited but the novel plot, positive word of mouth and absence of exciting releases might prove to be an advantage.

EXCLUSIVE: Parineeti Chopra’s co-stars warned her that Amar Singh Chamkila will end her career: “As I was shooting for over two years, I lost out on a lot of work”

Following the release of Amar Singh Chamkila starring Diljit Dosanjh, and Parineeti Chopra and helmed by Imtiaz Ali, the film has become the talk of the town. The reactions from critics and audiences have been positive. It has been a while since Parineeti has received immense praise for her performance. And the actress is overwhelmed. In a sit-down chat with Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti talked about the film, working with Imtiaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh and even shed light on her marriage to AAP leader Raghav Chadha.

In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti Chopra revealed that she was warned by her co-stars that she is risking her career for the film. “I remember telling some of my co-stars that I am about to do this film, and I am putting on weight. So many of them said, 'Have you gone mad? Have you lost it? You will end your career. Don't do this film.' But my gut said, 'No, I am going to do this’,” Parineeti said.

She added, “As I was shooting for Chamkila for over two years, I lost out on a lot of work. I looked my worst, and people were speculating I am pregnant, I have done Botox, and all sorts of rumours were there about me. I was hardly seen on red carpets.”

Parineeti continued, “I have not been seen around because I am looking like this (pointing towards herself). I have still not lost weight, and I am still not looking like myself. But I don't care. People like Vidya Balan inspire me with films like The Dirty Picture. Even in Hollywood, people transform themselves and lose everything. That's the kind of actor I am.”

The actress also said that she got married with the weight she had put on for Amar Singh Chamkila. “I got married with all the weight that I had gained, so whenever I look at my wedding pictures, I will only be reminded of Chamkila,” she added.

The Broken News 2 Trailer: Sonali Bendre backs Shriya Pilgaonkar as she wages war against Jaideep Ahlawat in newsroom drama, watch

ZEE5 unveiled the trailer for the second season of The Broken News. The show, which is based on the BBC Studios format Press, is directed by Vinay Waikul and written by Sambit Mishra. The new season will see Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar reprise their roles as Ameena Qureshi, Dipankar Sanyal and Radha Bhargava respectively. Returning after a gap of two years, the new season will see the fight for ideologies between the two broadcast news channels, Josh 24x7 and Awaz Bharti scale new heights and will premiere on 3rd May, on ZEE5.

In this thrilling new season, the ‘sach’ versus ‘sansani’ battle escalates beyond the newsroom, evolving into a personal struggle for survival. The upcoming season produced by BBC Studios Productions India will continue to capture the fictional lives, lies, loves, and struggles of journalists and their battle between truth and sensationalism. The upcoming chapter marks the homecoming of many actors such as Faisal Rashid, Indraneil Sengupta, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and Taaruk Raina, among others.
