Sunita Ahuja breaks silence on Govinda’s alleged affair; says, “I have heard that it’s a Marathi actress”

Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has once again addressed ongoing rumours about their strained marriage and the actor’s alleged extramarital affair. Speaking on Paras S Chhabra’s Abraa Kaa Dabra Show podcast, Sunita opened up about her personal life, financial independence, and her demand for a new home.

The couple has been in the news in recent months due to reports of a rift. While they have denied such claims several times, speculation continues. During the conversation, Sunita confirmed that she has “heard” of Govinda’s affair with a 30-year-old Marathi actress, but clarified that she cannot make any conclusions without solid proof.

She said, “I have said this many times to the media that I have also heard it. But, till the moment I don’t see him with my own eyes or catch him red-handed, I can’t declare anything. I have heard that it’s a Marathi actress.”

Sunita further advised women to be financially independent rather than relying entirely on their husbands. “It’s going really well. I got the YouTube silver button within four months of vlogging. A woman should stand up on her own. It gives another level of happiness to earn your own money. Your husband gives money, but he will give once after asking 10 times. Your own earning is your own,” she said.

Revealing that she currently lives with her daughter Tina and son Yash in a four-bedroom house, Sunita made a strong demand to her husband. “This house is small for us. I want to say through this podcast, ‘Chichi, buy me a big 5 bedroom hall house, otherwise see what happens to you’.”

Commenting on the rumours about Govinda’s behaviour, she added, “This is not the age to do all of this. Govinda should be thinking about settling his daughter, and son Yash’s career. I have also heard the rumours and said that till the time I don’t open my mouth, don’t trust anything. I have even told the media that I will always say the truth because I don’t lie.”

Sunita also spoke about ending her long-standing feud with her nephew, comedian Krushna Abhishek. “I have no fight with any kid now, both of them are my own children and they are the sweetest. This is not the age to fight with each other now. Krishna was brought up by me, most of his childhood. I have forgotten about everything now. I just want all the kids to be happy and smiling together. I want Aarti to become a mother soon, she comes home to tie rakhi to Yash,” she expressed.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja tied the knot in 1987 and kept their marriage a secret until the birth of their daughter Tina in 1989. The couple also has a son, Yashvardhan.
