Panipat: Sanjay Dutt reveals his intriguing first look as Ahmad Shah Abdali

It's only a day's wait before the trailer of Ashutosh Gowariker's magnum opus Panipat hits the internet. A couple of days back, the first poster of the film, featuring  no actor but a crowded war-field came out. Looks like it's now time for the actors' first looks to be unveiled. It began with Sanjay Dutt, who also plays a pivotal part in Panipat, apart from lead actors Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, Dutt, in his warrior avatar, looks absolutely intriguing. 'Ahmad Shah Abdali - Death strikes where his shadow falls. Panipat trailer out tomorrow. #PanipatLook,' he wrote, sharing the first look poster on his social media handles. The actor will be seen playing Ahmad Shah, the founder of the Durrani Empire and a former king of Afghanistan.

Panipat revolves around the third battle of Panipat between the Marathas and the Afghans, in 1761. Gowariker's film was shot on a grand scale, and the makers also recreated historical Shaniwarwada in Pune. Dutt, who's making some great choices of films lately, will also be seen playing the prime antagonist Adheera in Yash's KGF 2. He is also a part of another period drama Shamshera, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor.
