7 Years of PK: Rajkumar Hirani on if he remakes PK in Hollywood, says "I'll show Churches"

Aamir Khan starrer PK completes 7 years of success on 19 December 2021. The film was a hugely celebrated and successfull one and also bagged several awards. Apart from that, it has invited various controversies to its kitty. A section of the people criticised the film for hurting the religious sentiments and community's image.

Throwing some light on it, the film's director Rajkumar Hirani got into an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama. Rajkummar also talked about his approach if he would have made the film in Hollywood.

The filmmaker said, "There is a film in Pakistan for Khuda. In that film, they have criticised their religion with great conviction and bravely made the film that too by sitting in Pakistan. If suppose tomorrow I want to make a film in Hollywood, I'll not show temple, I'll obviously show churches. If I make a film in India, it'll definitely talk about Hindu culture. I have shown a Hindu girl from India and a Muslim boy from Pakistan. If I had to show more of Islam, I'd have reversed the roles. I'd have made the boy from Pakistan a Hindu boy and a girl from India, a Muslim. But that doesn't really make any story sense."
