Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone makes a statement in a multi-coloured striped Louis Vuitton dress for her first appearance as jury member
The 75th Cannes Film Festival has officially begun in France. It is an annual film festival that showcases new films from all over the world. This year's Cannes Film Market features India as the Official Country of Honour. Deepika Padukone is a jury member this year, along with other prominent names from the entertainment industry throughout the world. Deepika’s first look from the film festival went public as she joined the other jury members for dinner at the Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez.
Deepika wore Louis Vuitton's Fall 2021 collection for her first appearance at the 75th annual film festival. Her outfit is a reworked version of a piece from Louis Vuitton's Fall collection. It has a sleeveless black mini dress with silver, gold, yellow, red, and black shimmering embellishments on the front. The actor layered the black dress over a sleeveless white mini-dress for a dazzling and understated look appropriate for a dinner date. Deepika accessorised the look with tan-brown boots and a Louis Vuitton gold and black adorned box shoulder bag.
She finished off her glam look with centre-parted open tresses styled in soft waves, subtle Smokey eye makeup, winged eyeliner, mascara on the lashes, glowing skin, glossy nude lip shade, flushed skin, and on-fleek brows.
She also shared a sneak peek from her Cannes trip and what she did ahead of it.

Deepika Padukone was joined by Thierry Fremaux, a Cannes Film Festival director, Jeff Nichols, a US film director and member of the Official Selection Jury, Rebecca Hall, a British actress and member of the Official Selection Jury, and Jasmine Trinca, an Italian actress and member of the Official Selection Jury.
In terms of work, Deepika was most recently seen in Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan. She will next appear in Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Aside from that, she has Amitabh Bachchan's The Intern, Hrithik Roshan's Fighter, and Prabhas' Project K.
