1. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva
Not only fans, but the celebrities too have been eagerly waiting for Ayan Mukherjee’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. The first film in the trilogy, releasing on September 9, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in prominent roles is about Lord Brahma’s powerful weapons. The recently released trailer of the film broke all the viewership records and was highly appreciated by the audiences. The grand and epic trailer has created a lot of buzz around town and the film has become one of the highly anticipated films of the year.
Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu, action- adventure film is set to release on October 24. The film has generated a lot of hype because of its unique storyline that brings forward the truths and mysteries of the great Indian culture. The story revolves around the mythical bridge built by Lord Ram in order to save his wife, Sita. Abhishek Sharma’s Ram Setu is a tale of love and bravery. The film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nushratt Bharuccha in significant roles.

Om Raut’s Adipurush is based on the grand epic, Ramayana. The film is said to be one of the most high-budget films of the Indian cinema, with a budget of 500 crores. The film stars Prabhas as Lord Ram and Kriti Sanon will play the role of Sita. The film also features Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. The film is set to release in multiple languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada on January 12, 2023.

4. The Immortal Ashwatthama
Although there have not been any details released officially, fans are excited to watch Vicky Kaushal in Aditya Dhar’s mythological thriller, The Immortal Ashwatthama. Vicky will reportedly be seen playing the role of Ashwatthama, the only son of Guru Dronacharya with the curse of being immortal. As per the reports, the film will also feature Sara Ali Khan as female lead.

5. Ramayan
Producers Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra took to their social media handles to announce that they will be bringing the epic of Ramayana to the big screens. As per several reports, the high-budget film will be a trilogy starring big names from both Bollywood and the South Indian industries. Ramayan will be released in multiple languages such as Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and will be shot in 3D.

6. Mahabharat
Madhu Mantena announced his next big project, Mahabharat on his social media handle. The film will star Deepika Padukone as Draupadi. Deepika, who called this film her most ambitious project, has caught the attention of the audiences.
