BTS' J-Hope is 'burnt in fire' as he unveils concept photos and mood cut for 'Arson' from upcoming album Jack In The Box

Following the release of the tracklist of his upcoming album, South Korean juggernaut BTS' musician j-hope unveiled the concept photos and mood cut for one of the two lead singles 'Arson' from his highly anticipated solo album Jack In the Box.

The teaser photo depicts j-hope fiercely gazing at the camera next to a car on fire. The white jumpsuit draws a striking contrast to a charred car.

On July 10, a mood cut of “Arson” was also revealed. The mood cut showing j-hope burnt in fire visualizes the track’s mood and message.

Arson” sings j-hope’s encountering the world outside the box and standing at the crossroads agonizing about which path he should take.

Jack In The Box comprises a total of 10 tracks: “Intro,” “Pandora’s Box,” “MORE,” “STOP,” “= (Equal Sign),” “Music Box: Reflection,” “What if…,” “Safety Zone,” “Future,” and “Arson.” The pre-released “MORE” and the last track “Arson” are both main tracks that act as anchors in this album, conveying the core message that penetrates the whole album.  The tracks of Jack In The Box will also be available on digital music services on July 15 and via Weverse Albums on July 29.

j-hope’s first mixtape Hope World (March 2018) expressed his honest emotions and personal narratives, suggesting his vision as an artist. Globally-famed “Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)” released in 2019 showcased his own musical personality with exhilarating energy and performance.

BTS' j-hope is set to be a headliner at Lollapalooza on July 31, 2022.
