EXCLUSIVE: THIS is the sweetest thing Karan Johar’s kids have told him about his work
Filmmaker Karan Johar only recently concluded the latest season of his chat show Koffee With Karan on the OTT streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar. The director-producer revealed that he will return next year with yet another season. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama, the A-list filmmaker shared the sweetest things his kids, Yash and Roohi Johar, have told him about his work.
He shared, “I don’t think they know what I do really but once they told me that ‘Dada, we saw big face of yours when we were driving. It was a very big face of yours.’ So, they must’ve seen a hoarding. They kept saying ‘we saw very big face of yours.’” In February 2017, Johar became father to twins (a boy and a girl) through surrogacy. The twins, Yash and Roohi Johar, were born at Masrani Hospital in Mumbai.
On the professional front, Karan Johar’s next directorial is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi and is slated for 2023 release. The filmmaker is also planning to direct an action entertainer with hopes to kick off the shoot in April 2023.
