EXCLUSIVE: Rohit Saraf opens up about not being credited in Vikram Vedha: “Was I that bad?”

Rohit Saraf played the important character of Hrithik Roshan’s younger brother Shatak in the action entertainer Vikram Vedha earlier this year. Although his work was appreciated, he was disappointed to realize that he wasn’t a part of the credits. Speaking at the Bollywood Hungama Best Actors Roundtable, Rohit shared his exclusive reaction saying, “My name was not mentioned at all in Vikram Vedha. I was like, ‘Was I that bad?’”

Looking at the funnier side, Vicky Kaushal, who was also a part of the conversation, said, “That’s happened to me also. Sometimes they have a capacity of words they have to write into, that’s why.”

Earlier in the year, Rohit revealed an interesting incident with Hrithik during the shoot of Vikram Vedha in a chat with E Times. “There were monologues, and I didn’t want to mess it up. I kept giving retakes and because I couldn't get it right, I apologised to everyone,” he said. “I constantly went ‘I'm sorry, I'll do it now’. And when you are not getting something right, the pressure just begins to build tremendously because everyone is waiting for you. After we finished the scene, Hrithik sir took me aside. I thought that he's going to be really upset with me about what had happened, but he told me, ‘You need to stop apologising for not getting something right. We are all trying to make ourselves better over here on set.’”

Also starring Saif Ali Khan, Vikram Vedha was the official Hindi remake of the successful and acclaimed Tamil film of the same name.
