Shah Rukh Khan on how Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani was ahead of time: 'Things have to be relevant'
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan spread Christmas cheer on Sunday through his Twitter account. The actor took to the social networking site to hold a Q&A session called #AskSRK session. He answered some fun questions asked by his fans.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, "Merry Christmas to all. Spent the day designing and enjoying Christmas goodies with lil one. He has given me a little break now so maybe a quick #AskSRK then back to merriment."

A Twitter user asked, "How do you feel when people now say Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani was ahead of its time? #AskSRK." SRK responded, "I don’t think about the past good or bad. If it ain’t good it ain’t good….things have to be relevant."

Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani released in 2000. It stars Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla. The movie revolved around two TV reporters Ajay Bakshi and Ria Banerji who are rivals but team up to help a man seek justice for his daughter who was raped by a politician. The film has become a cult classic over the years.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will return to the big screen with Pathaan which is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and has Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it. The film is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
