Jawan: Lehar Khan reveals Shah Rukh Khan calmed her down during emotional scene: “He put me at ease with his gentle, warm behaviour”

With Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan has once again delivered a massive blockbuster. Helmed by Atlee, the film has collected Rs. 442.73 crore at the box office in India and continues to soar in the cinemas. The film stars budding actress Lehar Khan who got to share screen space with the superstar. Recently, Lehar opened up about sharing screen space with the superstar, especially in the now-popular metro heist sequence where you get to know about her character Kalki and her back story.

In an interview with India Today, she said, “My collar was uneven, and I was struggling with it. Suddenly, SRK sir just came out of nowhere and he fixed my collar. He picked up all my props. Since it was an emotional scene for me in that shot, he calmed me down completely. He could feel that I was a little nervous. He put me at ease with his gentle, warm behaviour. He also appreciated my performance and said, ‘Mashaallah, you’re a very good actor.’ That’s going to stay very close to my heart forever.”

Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film was released on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
