Kriti Sanon and Kanika Dhillon meet Uttarakhand CM amid Do Patti shoot in the state; writer-turn-producer calls it “filmmaker’s paradise”

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon and producer Kanika Dhillon recently met with the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, and his wife, Geeta, to express their gratitude for the state government's support during the filming of their upcoming film, Do Patti.

Sanon is currently shooting for Do Patti, her maiden production venture, in the picturesque state of Uttarakhand. The film, a suspense thriller set extensively across the terrains of North India, also stars Kajol and Tanvi Azmi.

Dhillon, who is co-producing Do Patti with Sanon under her production house Katha Pictures, took to Instagram to share photos of the meeting. In her caption, she expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for transforming Uttarakhand into a "top-notch filming location." She also praised the state's natural beauty and cooperative environment, calling it a "filmmaker's paradise."

Speaking of the film, during its announcement, Kriti had said, “Do Patti is a script that holds a very special place in my heart as it marks my debut as a Producer with my production house Blue Butterfly Films. I love every single aspect of filmmaking and have always wanted to be more creatively involved in stories that touch my heart. And I felt in my gut that I was ready to shift the gear and do more. I’m excited to collaborate with the extremely talented Kanika Dhillon as a producer and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner than Netflix for this magical journey. Adding to our women power is the amazing Kajol ma’am, who I’m thrilled to be working again with after almost 8 years (since Dilwale). I just cannot wait for this ride to begin!”
