Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, who is set to make a much-anticipated comeback to the silver screen with her upcoming film, Sukhee, is leaving no stone unturned in generating excitement and anticipation among her fans. As part of her promotional activities for the film, Shilpa Shetty recently had a heartwarming encounter with legendary actress Shabana Azmi.

On Thursday, Shilpa Shetty attended a special screening of her upcoming movie Sukhee. In a heartwarming video that has since gone viral, the actress can be seen rushing towards veteran actress Shabana Azmi with great enthusiasm. Shilpa warmly hugged Shabana Azmi and sought her blessings for her upcoming film. The two actresses exchanged smiles and cheerful glances as the paparazzi captured this special moment.

Shilpa Shetty's return to the big screen comes after a hiatus of nearly 13 years, with her last film being Hungama 2 in 2021. While her previous outing, Nikamma, received mixed reviews and did not fare well commercially, Shilpa is determined to make a mark with Sukhee, which is scheduled for release on September 22. The film, directed by Sonal Joshi and written by Radhika Anand, Paulomi Dutta, and Rupinder Inderjit, boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Kusha Kapila, Amit Sadh, Chaitanya Choudhry, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, Kiran Kumar, and Vinod Nagpal.

In addition to Sukhee, Shilpa Shetty has a busy slate of projects. She is currently working on the Kannada film KD - The Devil, directed by Prem, and is set to star in Rohit Shetty's action-packed web series Indian Police Force, alongside Sidharth Malhotra.
