Arjun Kapoor addresses height debate after photos with David Beckham go viral; says, “Let’s not believe everything that we read”

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor found himself at the centre of an online debate when he shared photos from a party hosted by his cousin, actress Sonam Kapoor, in honour of football legend David Beckham. The actor attended the event alongside Malaika Arora, and the pictures posted on Instagram led to discussions about Arjun's height in comparison to Beckham.

In the images, Arjun and David were seen twinning in black, but eagle-eyed social media users couldn't help but notice that Arjun appeared taller than the former footballer. Trolls flooded the comments section, pointing out that according to information available online, Arjun is supposedly shorter than David.

Responding to the height-related speculations, Arjun Kapoor took to social media to clarify the situation. In a post featuring pictures from the party, he addressed the controversy sparked by the noticeable height difference. A meme page tagged Arjun, asking him to explain the apparent inconsistency in their heights. The actor took a moment to set the record straight, stating, “I’m actually 183 cms, that’s slightly over 6 feet so let’s not believe everything that we read.”

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor was last seen in the role of a cop in the January 2023 release Kuttey. The actor will next be seen collaborating with Bhumi Pednekar for the film titled The Lady Killer. On the other hand, Malaika Arora will be continuing with her work in her entrepreneurial ventures.
