A Cry for Justice In a poignant Instagram post, Twinkle Khanna shared her pain and frustration over the prevailing situation for women in India. The author revealed that she has been teaching her daughter the same precautions she herself was taught as a child: to avoid going out alone under any circumstances. Khanna’s heartfelt words highlighted the alarming reality that women continue to face immense fear and insecurity in their daily lives.
“Fifty years on this planet, in this country, and I am teaching my daughter the same things I was taught as a child. Don’t go alone – to the park, to school, to the beach,” read Twinkle’s note.
