Ananya Panday calls Shah Rukh Khan “definition of an emotionally available man”: “He has never been some cookie-cutter, formulaic thing”
Actor Ananya Panday recently spoke about her close bond with Shah Rukh Khan, sharing heartwarming anecdotes from her childhood. Growing up as a close friend of Suhana Khan, SRK's daughter, Ananya often experienced firsthand his nurturing and supportive nature.
Shah Rukh Khan: The Emotionally Available Man Speaking on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Ananya described Shah Rukh Khan as "the definition of an emotionally available man." She reminisced about his involvement in their lives, saying, “He’s just the most amazing father. Even though he may be the busiest man, he always made time for his kids and even for us.”
Recalling fond memories, Ananya shared, “He’s come for every single sports day of ours, taught me for relay races, practiced taekwondo with us, taught me and Shanaya how to ride a bike, and even helped us with our homework. Any problem we had, we could call him up.” A One-of-a-Kind Charisma When asked about SRK’s magnetic personality, Ananya highlighted his ability to make everyone feel special: “It’s that charisma thing. When you are the king but still make everybody feel like they’re the king—that’s him. The way he conducts himself; he’s been very real. If you watch his old interviews, he’s never been cookie-cutter or formulaic. He has always spoken his mind.” Respect for Women Ananya also spoke about Shah Rukh’s respect for women, both on-screen and in real life. “The respect that he has given women in his films, the way he treats mother figures, and any woman in his life… It makes a huge difference. You can’t fake it; that’s just who he is as a person.”
Speaking of the professional front, Ananya was recently seen in Call Me Bae, an Amazon Prime Video series. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s King.
