Rashmika Mandanna confirms about sustaining leg injury; pens note apologizing to filmmakers

Rashmika Mandanna, who is already riding high on the success of Pushpa 2 – The Rule, is one of the busiest actors currently. With a slew of over five films in the pipeline, the actress has releases scheduled until 2026 and she has been busy wrapping them ever since the year kick started. However, it seems that her health played spoilt sport in the midst of the shoot schedule of three of her films which led to a delay in their shoots. The actress sustained a major leg injury and shared details about the same on social media.

Rashmika Mandanna drops photos from the hospital

The actress sought medical help after she suffered leg injury while working out in the gym. Rashmika shared details about the same on social media wherein she mentioned how she would be ‘hopping’ in and out of sets, further revealing that she is unsure of when she will recover completely. She also apologized to all the teams she is currently shooting with. Along with a series of photos of her making cute expressions, Rashmika wrote, “Well… happy New Year to me I guess! ??????? Injured myself in my sacred gym shrine ???? Now I’m in “hop mode” for the next few weeks or months or god only knows, so seems like I’ll be hopping my way back to sets for Thama, Sikandar, and Kubera!”

She added, “To my directors sorry for the delay…I’ll be back soon enough just making sure my legs are fit for action (or at least fit for hopping) In the meantime if you need me…I’ll be the one in the corner doing a highly advanced bunny hop workout. HOP HOP HOP…”

About Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming projects

Like we reported earlier, Rashmika has several projects, out of which she is currently shooting for Salman Khan starrer Sikandar, which is slated for release during Eid this year. Apart from that, the actress is also shooting for Kubera where she will be seen alongside Dhanush and Nagarjuna and the highly-awaited Thama which is a part of the successful Dinesh Vijan – Maddock supernatural universe, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana. Along with these, Rashmika also has the Telugu film The Girlfriend, the much-talked about historical drama Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal in the lead, in the pipeline.
